Opportunity to help world need!
Our world is full of people in need. We have an opportunity to help in a small but impactful way these needs.
This year Boston International Student Ministry along with other groups and individuals are joining with Operation Christmas Child as they deliver over 10,000,000 gifts to children in need around the world, including many refugees.
These gifts bring a spirit of hope into shattered worlds.
Over the next weeks until November 10th we will collect gifts and money for postage so we can send 100 boxes to these children. We will need to raise $22 for each box, or $2,200 in total, with all of us working together.
On November 13th, Friday, we will assemble these gifts and pack them (marked by child, include postage costs and a note from you if you like) for delivery to the drop off pojnt the following week. We wil do this packing from from 11:30 am to 5:30 pm at the WSU ministry house. Food and refreshments will be served all the time. We need 3 shifts of 2 hours each of 8 international students and 4 volunteers to help. Thus 12 people needed at each shift. You can add a personal note to the box as well as to pray for the child who will receive it.
Here are ways you can help:
1) Donate a box or any amount towards a box, total box cost is $22.00 found below:
