Worcester has many fine restaurants. There are clusters of outstanding restaurants Shrewsbury Street, Highland Avenue, Park Avenue, and downtown. Here are some favorites: 





The Flying Rhino

Northworks, 106 Grove Street, 508-755-9657 . An old factory building serving a wide variety of American foods

The Boulevard Diner, 155 Shrewsbury Street, 508-791-4535. Italian specialties, historic lunch car, closes after lunch.

Tortilla Sams, 107 Highland Street, 508-756-7267. Casual Mexican and American dining. 

New England Roast Beef, 33 Park Avenue, Worcester, 508-756-1991. A sandwich shop.

Da-Lat, 425 Park Ave, 508-753-6036. Authentic Vietnamese delights. 

Wing It Up,  591 Park Avenue,  508-755-9464. Chicken wings, wraps, and sandwiches. Eat in, take out, & delivery. 11 am to 1 am.  

Coney Island Lunch, 158 Southbridge Street, 508-753-4326. A hot dog lovers paradise.

Spoodles Deli, 358 Main Street, 508-755-0800. Spacious place offering an enormous selection of soups, salads, sandwiches, wraps and delicious entrees.

Boynton Family Restaurant, 117 Highland Street, (508) 756-8458. American Traditional, Italian, Pizza. Popular with families and college students.

Nancy Chang, 372 Chandler Street, (508) 752-8899. Chinese, Japanese specialties and an extensive list of creative vegetarian meals. Order from menu or get the buffet.

Lucky’s Café, 102 1/2 Grove Street, 508-756-5014. A hole-in-the-wall place with great ambience and a creative menu of American foods. Make a reservation.

Wild Willy’s Burgers, 317 West Boylston Street, (508) 459-2088. Great hamburgers and buffalo burgers as well as Italian, pizza, seafood, and steak. Western ambience.

El-Basha, 424 Belmont Street (508-797-0884) and 256 Park Avenue (508-795-0222). Outstanding Mideastern cuisine.

Sakura Tokyo, 640 Park Avenue, (508) 792-1078. Japanese cuisine. Features a fine sushi bar and table grills where chefs display their knife-juggling skills while cooking your food.

The Bean Counter, 113 Highland Street, 508-754-3125. A hole in the wall coffee shop with great coffee and desserts.

Nu Cafe, 335 Chandler Street, 508-926-8800. Great coffee, desserts, and sandwiches.
